IncoNet CA/SC: S&T International Cooperation Network
The project aimed at strengthening and deepening the S&T cooperation with the Central Asian (Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan) and South Caucasus countries (Armenia. Azerbaijan, Georgia), and worked in close coordination with the ongoing IncoNet EECA project (International Cooperation Network for Eastern European and Central Asian countries).

Objectives of the project were:
- Bringing forward the policy dialogue with the target countries for the identification of research priorities of mutual interest
- Enhancing the development of synergies with other Community policies and instrument for a stronger support to S&T related activities
- Organises Info Days and other activities aiming at an increased participation of researchers from CA and SC in FP7
- Training and capacity building to support the FP7 contact points in the target regions
- Identification and mapping of key research institutes
- Analyses/studies on cooperation patterns
- Improving S&T Indicators
- Developing and assisting innovation policy development
The results fed the bi-regional Stakeholder Conferences encompassing all the EECA and SC countries
A Central Information Office was set up and constitutes a unique source of knowledge for the entire region, which covers the South Caucasus and Central Asian countries.
