BILAT-UKR*AINA 2nd Stakeholders’ Forum: Enhancing Ukraine’s Competitiveness in RI on the way to the Association to Horizon 2020

The Forum aims to provide a platform for Ukrainian and EU stakeholders to facilitate the exchange of good and transferable practices and defining common interests.
The two overarching topics of the sessions are planned as follows:
- Good practices and lessons learnt on the association to Framework Programmes and the system of National Contact Points (NCPs)
- Investigation for best ways of innovation stimulation
The first day of the second Stakeholders’ Forum of BILAT-UKR*AINA aims to put a special attention on accumulating the experiences and best practices of EU Member States and Associated Countries to Horizon 2020 regarding the procedure of the association, exploitation of opportunities, and lessons learnt in the field. Supporting the Ukrainian NCP system, representatives of various EU and AC countries will provide examples on the architecture and functioning of their national systems. Each section will be backed by moderated discussions.
On the second day, policy representatives and experts will share their knowledge on innovation stimulation policies, programmes, and other instruments. Good practices identified in the field of channeling research results into the industry with the aim of enhancing innovation will be also put on the table.
In the afternoon, the operation and services provided by Enterprise Europe Network (EEN) will be presented with a special view on the issue of Intellectual Property Rights (IPR). Invited speakers will discuss their experiences about the functioning and added value of National and European Technology Platforms in the frame of a roundtable discussion.
