A non-profit organisation aimed at protecting and promoting cultural activities of the performing arts, higher education and scientific research.

Fondazione Grosseto Cultura was established in September 2008 with the task of managing a number of important city cultural promotion areas such as the 'Palmiero Giannetti' Municipal Music Institute, the Natural History Museum of the Maremma and the Cedav (Grosseto City Council's Visual Arts Documentation Centre), which later became the Le Clarisse Cultural Centre.
