Acronym: IIST

Established in 1967 as a not-­for-­profit foundation, Institute for International Studies and Training (IIST) aims to provide the necessary training and other opportunities to improve the quality of human resource engaged in international economic activities as a means of promoting economic exchange between Japan and other countries. One of the activities is the publication of IIST WORLD FORUM Mail Magazine with commentary and analysis from key figures in a range of areas on leading issues, in-­‐depth examinations of outstanding manufacturers, and information on regional economic stimulation initiatives and developments.
