ZSI amonst the most successful Austrian participants in ICT in FP7

At a recent event organised by the Austrian Research Promotion Agency (FFG) the new workprogramme for ICT (Information & Communication Technologies) of the European Unions research funding programme FP7 was presented.
Apart from the new workprogramme and the next calls Michael Wiesmüller, the Austrian delegate for the ICT programme from the Austrian Ministry for Transport, Innovation & Technology, presented an analysis regarding Austrian participation in this programme for the first three calls since the launch of FP7.
The ZSI does surprisingly well! We are ranked amongst the top 10 of Austrian institutions with successful proposal submissions. The data comes from PROVISO, a project to document and analyse Austrian research participation.
