The NKUA-SARG Centre for Financial Studies has an extensive experience on RTDI issues of SEE Countries and especially WBC. CFS has been involved in evaluations of national and international programmes, policies and organizations, evaluation capacities, public procurement and evaluation, benchmarking exercises and international networks.
CFS has a dedicated experience of working with SEE and the WBCs, its staff participated in 2008 in the evaluation programmes "Ex-Post Evaluation of JRC direct actions in the 6th Framework Programmes 2002-2006", "Expert Group for the Follow up of the revised Lisbon Strategy (LEG)", "Expert Group to address the management of risk in public technology procurement", and is currently member of the "Expert Evaluation Network delivering Policy Analysis on the Performance of Cohesion Policy 2007-2013", funded by DG REGIO. CFS participated in the project "Charting Future Trends in European Innovation Policy (INNOPOLICYTRENDCHART)" since 2007, as country correspodent for Greece and Cyprus and was also responsible for producing the Annual European Innovation Progress Report.
Research policy analysis and evaluation: Since 2004 CFS has been member of the ERAWATCH Network, responsible for Greece and Cyprus. In 2009 CFS coordinated the ERAWATCH contract "Extension of country coverage of the ERAWATCH research inventory to selected EU Neighbourhood Countries" and is currently coordinating the "ERAWATCH International: Research Inventory and Analytical Country Reports"
