A central element of the project is the TWICIIC Accelerator, which supports impact-oriented scale-ups seeking to grow and expand across the Austrian and Slovak markets. The programme combines capacity building, peer learning and access to relevant actors from both innovation ecosystems. Beyond the Accelerator, TWICIIC brings together public and private ecosystem actors through research, institutional peer learning, networking and other forms of cross-border cooperation.
The project also analyses the impact innovation ecosystems in Vienna and Bratislava and the barriers to cross-border cooperation, while working towards a lasting cross-border network that can support collaboration beyond the project period.
TWICIIC brings together six partners from Austria and Slovakia: ZSI, the City of Bratislava, Vienna Business Agency, Relevant Ventures, CB ESPRI and Impact Slovakia. ZSI coordinates the project as Lead Partner.
TWICIIC is co-funded by the Interreg Slovakia–Austria 2021–2027 Programme.
