Work and Research Focuses

Camilla Chlebna is an experienced researcher in transformative innovation. Her work mainly draws on economic geography, innovation studies and sustainability transitions.  She primarily employs qualitative research methods and carries out socio-technical system analysis where she explores technological development conditioned by societal, institutional, and spatial factors. She is interested in the interactions between human society and nature and in questions of sustainable regional development within planetary boundaries.

Empirically, Camilla likes to work with the energy, (agri-)food, and waste sectors, and she is interested in both climate mitigation and adaptation.
