Richard Anar is a researcher and project manager at ZSI, where his work sits at the intersection of sustainability research, social innovation, and evidence-based policy. He brings expertise in both qualitative and quantitative research methods, with a particular focus on Social Life Cycle Assessment (SLCA/LCA) and Safe and Sustainable by Design (SsbD) frameworks applied to processes and organisations.
His research spans from policy analysis and strategic advice to the integration of sustainability indicators in complex socio-technical systems. Richard contributes to international and national research projects, combining rigorous methodological grounding with a strong orientation towards real-world impact.
