The objective of this project is to perform a mapping exercise of the science, research and innovation landscape in each of the Central Asian States (CASs: Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan) and to analyse R&I projects financed by the EU and international organisations active in the region.
Additionally, the project aims to assist the European Commission in capacity building of relevant stakeholders to increase their participation in Horizon Europe. The capacity building includes the organisation of information sessions on Horizon Europe with practical focus on searching and finding partners, organisation and implementation of Proposal Writing Camps and expert consultations for researchers and innovators in all five countries working on research performing organisations aiming to apply to upcoming Horizon Europe calls.
