ZSI researchers Manfred Spiesberger and Inese Gavarane held a Horizon Europe Information and Networking Session in Dushanbe, Tajikistan. The Session was convened on May 14, 2026, at the Tajik State University of Commerce. It brought together more than 70 researchers, innovators and policy-makers from across Tajikistan.
The event was co-organised by the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Tajikistan and the Global Service Facility (GSF) of the European Commission. ZSI researchers led exchanges on the 2026–2027 Horizon Europe Work Programmes and best-practices on proposal preparation and networking.
The Horizon Europe National Contact Point (NCP) in Tajikistan, coordinated by Mr. Ahmadjon Rahmonzoda, Ministry of Education and Science of Tajikistan, stands ready to support local researchers in accessing Horizon Europe opportunities and connecting them with colleagues in the EU and countries associated to Horizon Europe.
