The ETHNA System final conference successfully organized

30. Jun. 2023

ZSI participated in the roundtable discussion on the evaluation of the ETHNA System concept

The ETHNA System Project organised its Final Conference in Castelló de la Plana, Spain at the premises of Lead Partner Jaume I University on 15-16 June, 2023.

The first day of the event provided the opportunity for project partners to present and discuss the main results of the ETHNA System project in two keynote presentations and two roundtable discussions. The second roundtable discussion titled "Evaluation of the ETHNA System: what to expect (and not to) in the ethical implementation processes and practical guidelines" involved ZSI researcher Gábor Szüdi who shared his experience on challenges and barriers associated with a successful RRI institutionalisation in RPOs and RFOs.

The second day of the event involved external experts to debate the future challenges in front of RRI and open science, as well as to assess the relevance of policies and good practice codes to foster RRI. Sister projects and projects otherwise associated with topics on RRI had a chance to present themselves in a poster session. The VERITY project was also among the projects thus promoted for a broader audience.

The conference was recorded and the whole programme is available here.
