Maddalena is completing the master’s degree in Socio-Ecological Economics and Policy at the Vienna University of Economics and Business, expanding her bachelor’s in economics and management with heterodox economics approaches. Her research interests lie in strategies, governance, and social dimensions of transitions to sustainable societies. She has focused on energy justice, energy poverty and just transition in European energy and social policies.
