Carmen Siller studied Applied Linguistics and Cultural Studies and has been working at ZSI since March 2005. She is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Educational Science with a focus on “Education, Counselling, and Development Across the Lifespan.”
With over 20 years of experience, Carmen has led projects across a wide range of topics. Her core competencies include building and maintaining broad stakeholder networks, coordinating the administrative and financial aspects of complex international projects, and organising workshops, conferences, and training activities for diverse audiences.
She is the Gender Equality Representative of the institute, monitoring related activities, managing knowledge exchange on the topic and regularly updating the Gender Equality Plan (GEP) of ZSI.
She currently leads the Impact Creation work package in VOLABIOS, a groundbreaking Horizon Europe project focused on transforming the diagnosis and monitoring of schizophrenia and supports the Interreg-funded projects COOPOWER and TASK4ISI.
Carmen also led ZSI’s involvement in STEP Change (2021–2024), where the team assessed training needs of various citizen science initiatives, developed tailored formats, and facilitated mutual learning and exchange between partner organisations.
