The bioeconomy treasure hunt is a co-created initiative, developed by stakeholders from the Linz region in Upper Austria with the goal of raising awareness about bioeconomy among a broad audience. In collaboration with Wageningen Research and Botanischer Garten Linz, the content was carefully developed to highlight the possibilities and challenges within the bioeconomy field.
Since its launch in August 2025, visitors can embark on this educational journey through various stations in the Botanischer Garten Linz. As you explore, you’ll uncover key insights into bioeconomy, answering questions along the way that help uncover both the opportunities and limitations of these innovative approaches. At the end of the treasure hunt, a bioeconomy-themed surprise awaits you, which you can collect from the concierge at the entrance.
