Theses Paper for shaping the next (9th) EU-RTD Framework Programme

The Austrian Federal Ministry of Science, Research and Economy established a Think Tank to develop ideas and proposals for a future European Research, Technology and Innovation (RTI) policy and specifically a more efective and efficient Framework Programme. The work of the Think Tank has to be regarded as an input for the discussions and preparations of the next (9th) Framework Programme (FP9) in Austria, in Brussels and across Europe. To this end, the Think Tank produced 10 theses as the main outcome of its work, which were published on 3rd October.

In addition, the Austrian Federal Ministry of Science, Research and Economy asked a few Austrian experts, including André Martinuzzi, Matthias Weber, Wolfgang Polt and Klaus Schuch, the scientific director of ZSI, to organise and implement a process to go more into the details of some of the theses.
