The
aim
of
this
study
was
to
provide:
-
an
overview of EU
MS
international
STI
policies
and
policy
implementation
- an
analysis
of
trends
and
-
recommendations
for
a
practical
and
cost
effective
methodology
for
monitoring
the
implementation
of
EU
MS
STI
cooperation
policies
with
international
partner
countries.
The
following
countries
have
been
selected
by
the European Commission
for
further
in‐depth
analysis
with
regard
to
STI
collaboration
with
third
countries:
Denmark,
Finland,
France,
Germany,
Netherlands,
Spain,
Sweden,
UK,
Austria,
Italy,
Portugal
and
Slovenia.
ZSI was responsible for the contribution on Austria.
