ERA Portal Austria is a knowledge-sharing platform providing information on EU-related research policy and its implementation in Austria and in Europe. In this context, it supports decision-making by providing strategic intelligence. In addition, ERA Portal Austria serves as a promotion platform for Austrian initiatives in Europe.
The target groups of ERA Portal are:
- policy makers in Austrian administration
- experts of research funding agencies
- strategic actors from academia and business
- policy-makers from EU institutions, the EU-MS (Member States) and AS (Associated Countries)
Regarding the online platform, ZSI provides the following services in particular:
- Establishment of the web-based information and knowledge sharing platform in responsive design
- Individual versions for smart phones and tablets
- News section providing up-to-date information on recent developments in European research policy
- New search facility
- Helpdesk for the Austrian RTI (Research, Technology, Innovation) community providing answers to individual inquiries on ERA related matters
ZSI is hosting this platform since its inception in 2001.
