CIR-CE (Co-operation in Innovation and Research with Central and Eastern Europe) is an Austrian RTD-Programme designed to support an innovation based co-opeation between Austrian industry with partners from Central and Eastern Europe. The ZSI has been authorised to monitor the programme by exploiting analytical network methodologies. Projects from the first and the second CIR-CE call for proposals are under scrutiny. The respective surveys are T3 and T4 for the former, and T1 and T2 for the latter. The focus is on additionality effects related to the internationalisation of Austrian enterprises, the development of science-industry relations, the network’s development and fabric, the project’s communication structure as well as the project’s dynamic and sustainability.
