ZSI in MCAA panel on ethical use of AI

Promoting the ethical use of artificial intelligence: ZSI part of panel dicussion at the MCAA annual conference

Along with Dr Mihalis Kritikos (EGE, Brussels) & Dr Liviu Stirbat (DG-RDT, Brussels), ZSI representative Dr Gábor Szüdi (ZSI) discussed the case of China at a high-level panel discussion on research security, geopolitics and AI governance which was held in the framework of the Annual Conference of the Marie Curie Alumni Association (MCAA) in Krakow on 21 March 2025.

Gábor introduced the relevant research findings gained in the Reconnect China project and discussed in detail the differences between the up-to-date AI regulations in China and the EU and their potential implications for a higher chance of ethical global AI use, as well as a more efficient and impactful cooperation in the field between the most important actors.
