ZSI congratulates Katja Mayer on her recently awarded Elise Richter fellowship (Austrian Science Fund FWF). This programme is designed for highly qualified female scientists who strive for an university career. Dr. Mayers’s project, “The politics of openness: Open data practices in computational social sciences “, will examine how social scientific agency is transformed at the juncture of Big Data and Open Data. Her proposal received excellent reviews and the project start is planned for mid 2019.
