ZSI is pleased to partner with the Digital Humanism Conference #DigHum2026, taking place from 24 to 26 June 2026 in Vienna under the motto “Orientation in turbulent times”.

ZSI Senior Scientist Katja Mayer serves as Programme Chair of the conference. Elisabeth Unterfrauner, Scientific Lead at ZSI, will represent ZSI in the session on digital urban participation, bringing in ZSI’s long-standing expertise at the intersection of digital transformation, participation, and democracy.

With its focus on AI governance, platform power, digital labour, democratic resilience, digital sovereignty, public service innovation, and digital commons, #DigHum2026 offers an important space for reflecting on how digital technologies can be shaped in the public interest.
