UNESCO-CEI Workshop on Information Literacy Initiatives in Central and South East European Countries

The International Center for Promotion of Enterprises (ICPE) is organizing this workshop in order to assist CEI and SEE countries, its member countries and other countries in the world, which still have to make concerted efforts in the information literacy development and implementation,
– in line with UNESCO’s action to provide people with the skills and abilities for critical reception, assessment and use of information in their professional and personal lives, and UNESCO’s main strategy in the area of Information Literacy for awareness-raising about the importance of information literacy at all levels of the educational process;
– and with support from the UNESCO IFAP (Information for all Programme) and the CEI (Central European Initiative – Cooperation Activities).
