Made in Danube Final Event - mission accomplished !

6. Jun. 2019

The event was organised in the political context of the Danube region

The Made in Danube project was launched in 2017 with the aspiring aim of providing long-term support for knowledge, innovation and technology transfer in the Danube Region. It received funding from the INTERREG Danube Transnational Programme (ERDF, IPA) and has been dealing with several support, training and capacity building activities ranging from innovation management to social and open innovation having special focus on the bio-economy field.

Made in Danube celebrated its success early this week in a final event in Stuttgart that was attended by international project stakeholders deriving from the Danube Region and beyond.

The event managed to gather Bio-economy communities and other stakeholders interested in the uptake of innovation tools in the field of biofuels, forestry and smart agriculture, counting also with the presence of national and international policymakers. Throughout the event with multiple sessions, our main goals was to:

  • Introduce the project’s final results;
  • Present the outcomes of  topic-related projects with multiple stakeholders in Bio-economy;
  • And engage the audience in a series of dialogues and roundtable on the paths ahead for Cohesion Policy.
