The award-winning film, GlobalCommunities: Our City, Our Say, follows the story of how research in social sciences is making a profound impact on the accessibility and maintenance of electricity infrastructure in Ghana.The video was created by Chouette Films.

The video was awarded by the Austrian Presidency of the EU Council Conference on 'Impact of Social Sciences and Humanities for a European Research Agenda – Valuation of SSH in mission-oriented research'. This conference was organised by ZSI on behalf of the Austrian Federal Ministry of Education, Science and Research.
