The Danube Strategic Project Fund (DSPF) pilot initiative was set up to fund strategic projects in the Danube Region strengthening the implementation of the European Union Strategy for the Danube Region (EUSDR) Action Plan. The DSPF was also programmed to support the European Union Strategy for the Adriatic Ionian Region (EUSAIR) by calling for participation of project partners from EUSAIR countries. Thus, the DSPF stands as an outstanding example of how EU Macro-Regions can cooperate and benefit from each other.

On October 31, 2018 the DSPF Networking Event will take place in Vienna. At this public event, the 12 DSPF projects will be presented and there will be ample opportunity for networking.
