Relaunched S&T Info for Southeast Asia online at www.sea-eu.net

6. Jul. 2009

SEA-EU-NET is a project that aims to link the research communities in Europe and Southeast Asia. As there is already a lot of online information on the European Research Landscape, we focus at our project website on providing interesting facts and news on Southeast Asia.

In order to step-up our efforts we are pleased to announce the relaunch of the SEA-EU-NET website (www.sea-eu.net) with a range of additional and more advanced features.
Among the novel functions of the website are:

  • 3 additional directories (institutions, who’s who, project partners)
  • a more advanced document directory with sort and filter functions
  • an event calendar with a ‘forum of ideas’ function that offers registered users the possibility to discuss and rate project ideas; participants of events can express themselves more freely and SEA-EU-NET gets also virtually in touch with its target groups
  • free registration to the website to get access to restricted information
  • a ‘your input’ function that offers users an easy way to share information with SEA-EU-NET and a broad scientific community

A general asset of the new version is that team members can directly upload different sorts of information like news, events, links or documents. Unregistered users are offered a wide range of information while only registered users can access contact information of relevant stakeholders and use advanced communication channels like the ‘forum of ideas’ related to certain events.

Please take the time to enjoy exploring all the new functions. We welcome any comments or suggestions for further additions to the website and encourage you to sign up to the website to enjoy the full range of features.

The development of the new web portal was coordinated and implemented by ZSI.
