19. Nov. 2014

Increasing cooperation in the field of energy efficiency, renewable energy and the bioeconomy in the Danube Region

In the framework of Work Package (WP) 3 “Tackling Societal Challenges: Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy in a Bio-based Economy”, the Danube-INCO.NET project (which is coordinatored by Centre for Social Innovation) is carrying out a mapping exercise aimed to identify the most relevant stakeholders active in the field of energy efficiency, renewable energy and the bioeconomy in the Danube Region. The result of this effort will be a constantly upgraded database that will prove an efficient tool for networking, with the ultimate goal to support concrete cooperation activities and the creation of international partnerships.

Who are we looking for?

Regional development agencies, energy agencies, associations, companies, NGOs, clusters and networks, universities, research institutes, chambers of commerce and industry, public bodies, government entities, international organisations already active or willing to cooperate in the field of energy efficiency, renewable energy and the bioeconomy in the Danube Region.

Why joining the Danube-INCO.NET database?

- You will receive monthly updates on cooperation opportunities, upcoming events, open calls for funding, as well as the latest energy-related news targeting the Danube Region;

- You may be identified and invited to participate in the activities of the Danube-INCO.NET project, particularly in the clustering/networking events that will take place in 2015 and 2016, focused on the promotion of international cooperation and elaboration of project ideas in the field of renewable energy, energy efficiency and the bioeconomy;

- You may compete for the award of funds that will be allocated by the Danube-INCO.NET project in 2015 for the implementation of two Pilot Activities, aimed to support further international cooperation in the energy-related sectors.

Therefore, accessing the Danube-INCO.NET database is the first step to be involved in the Danube-INCO.NET project as a relevant stakeholder, thus having the chance to receive tailored and updated information for the development of international energy-related projects, and to participate in the clustering events and in the selection process for the abovementioned Pilot Activities.
