Review on a successful meeting in December 2011

The Project Steering Committee meeting together with the Financial Audit Group and Age Steering Group meeting of the project “Central European Knowledge Platform for an Ageing Society” (“CE-Ageing Platform” in short) was organized by the Chamber of Labour Upper Austria (AKOÖ) in cooperation with the Centre for Social Innovation (ZSI) in Linz, Austria on 15th – 16th December 2011.

The meeting was held at the AKOÖ premises and was attended by all core partners of the CE-Ageing Platform, implemented through the CENTRAL EUROPE Programme cofinanced by the ERDF. The meeting’s focus was to provide comprehensive information about the CE-Ageing Platform work tasks fulfilled so far and its further activities to be preformed within the upcoming project periods. After the Project Steering Group meeting, the Financial Audit Group meeting took place and several financial issues of the CE Programme were presented and discussed.

On December 16, 2011, the Age Steering Group meeting was organised. The project partners jointly developed first elements for a joint vision for Central Europe in 2050. The establishment of the CE-Ageing Strategy will be a core output of the CE-Ageing Platform. In March 2012 the next Age Steering Group meeting will be held in order to further develop the strategy.
