The Centre for Social Innovation was awarded a new Specific Support Action under the INCO Programme in the 6th Framework Programme. The “Information Office of the Steering Platform on Research for the Western Balkan Countries” has started its operations on May 1, 2006 and supports the Steering Platform which will be launched under the Austrian Presidency in the very near future.
The Information Office will soon provide its services to the interested public through the website www.see-science.eu. General information on science, technological development and national innovation systems of the so-called Western Balkan countries, important documents and papers on the topics which concern the Steering Platform and tailor-made studies providing a deeper understanding will be available for registered users. Another important instrument is the delivery of a quarterly newsletter addressing the interested public. It will provide updates on the Steering Platform’s advancements, expert interviews, event announcements, etc.
