The Danube Transnational Programme (DTP) is an EU funded programme to promote economic, social and territorial cohesion in the Danube Region. It comprises 9 EU and 5 non-EU countries (Austria, Bulgaria, Croatia, Czech Republic, Hungary, Germany – Baden-Wuerttemberg and Bavaria -, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Moldova, Montenegro, Serbia and Ukraine – partly), providing a political dimension to transnational cooperation which is unique in Europe.
The Budapest kick-off event included the launch ceremony of the programme and the announcement of the first call for project proposals. Elke Dall (ZSI) presented on the second day during thematic workshop “1.2. Increase competences for business and social innovation” which dealt with more specific aspects related to the priorities axis of the programme.
