1st Peer Review & 1st CE-Ageing International Conference in Bratislava, Slovak Republic

On 20th and 21st March 2012, the first Peer Review of the CE - Ageing Platform was held in Bratislava, the Slovak Republic. The content of this Peer Review comprised activities and practices implemented in the Slovak Republic related to the active involvement of the elderly.

Back to back with the peer review, the first CE-Ageing International Conference was held on 21 - 22 March 2012 in Bratislava, Slovak Republic. The conference gathered approximately 150 participants (project and strategic partners, national and regional policy makers from Slovak Republic, key stakeholders, international ageing experts, etc.) in order to exchange and discuss latest developments in active ageing, demographic changes, silver economy, lifelong learning in Slovak Republic and best practice examples. The next CE-Ageing International Conference will be held in the end of 2012 in Ljubljana, Slovenia. Additionally two more peer reviews will be organised in 2012. More information will be provided soon.
