Responsible Research and Innovation (RRI) includes several thematic elements such as public engagement, open access, gender, ethics, science education.
The Austrian Federal Ministry of Science, Research and Economy launched a nation-wide alliance to engage the most important Austrian research organisations, civil society organisations and relevant multiplicators to foster the implementation of responsible science.
ZSI joined the initiative in August 2015.
It ranks amongst Austria’s most experienced scientific organisations dealing with science communication, participatory research, citizen science, open access etc.
