Policy Analysis & Peer Review

Policy Analysis & Peer Review

The Centre for Social Innovation (ZSI) is experienced in multi-level and multi-actor policy analysis in the fields of research, technology and innovation policy, labour market and social policy, and other areas such as education policy issues, digital agendas, and development cooperation, often bridge between compartmentalised arenas of policy-delivery.

ZSI offers a broad mix of qualitative and quantitative social scientific methods and management and process tools, including many participatory approaches ranging from easy-applied techniques to comprehensive foresight exercises, in order to implement robust evidence-based policy analysis. Our policy analysis is tailor-made to the specific needs of our customers and their problems. It is inclusive and aims to provide socially accepted guidance.

Improving quality & upholding standards
Peer reviews are one of the methods applied by ZSI to enable appraisal and learning. Peer reviews may relate to different levels, such as institutions, straightforward intervention areas in specific sub-fields of policy, or large policy areas. Examples include STI Policy Mix peer reviews in Kazakhstan and Moldova, or peer reviews of public employment services conducted across several European countries. The links below provide detailed examples.
