The main objective of the WEBTRUST project is to support and facilitate the transfer of know-how and diffuse best practices in building up of e-services and tools that belong to a group of activities known as eparticipation and e-government.
In provision of the e-government and e-participation services WEBTRUST objective is also to include open source technology that enable building up of trust and confidence in the respective services and between the communicating actors, administration and the citizens. WEBTRUST project is also oriented to measure the acceptability of the services through use of e-engagement tools. In support of this, it will seek to attract the involvement and support of a broad range of institutions and organizations that have an interest in the field, in transfer of know how and expertise and have a mission to provide series of e-services to the wide population of community users. In relation to the above general objective that apply to all European regions, the WEBTRUST project aims to perform its mission mainly in the Western Balkan countries, partners of the WEBTRUST project.
The project will enable public administration in Western Balkan countries (Gazi Baba municipality from FYROM, the Standing Conference of Towns and Municipality of Serbia, the Government European
Integration Office of Serbia, and BIH governmental institutions) to reach higher productivity and equity as it will implement several e-government services known as Permit and License and e-Governmental Guidance and Help services for the respective governmental and public administration authorities.
