18. Dez 2018

How to prepare a successful application for the Horizon 2020 SME instrument?

From December 5-6 the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development in Ukraine and the RI-LINKS2UA project (Horizon 2020, coordinator ZSI) organised a practical workshop about the Horizon 2020 SME Instrument in Kyiv, Ukraine.

The training was led by Alessia Melasecche Germini from META Group (RI-LINKS2UA project partner) and Philipp Brugner from ZSI and took place in the framework of the EU4Business initiative, which aims to help small businesses in the Eastern Partnership countries to realise their full potential. EU4Business support is delivered together with other organisations such as the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development and the European Investment Bank.

The two-day training in Kyiv focussed on the assistance of Ukrainian SMEs in preparing a successful application under the Horizon 2020 SME Instrument. The participants were introduced in Horizon 2020 in general, the importance of impact (including communication, dissemination, exploitation under Horizon 2020) for achieving sustainability of project results and learned about the SME Instrument Phase 1 and 2 in detail.

All materials presented by the trainers can be found on the RI-LINKS2UA website.
