Internship offer: EU Project Management Assistant

Support in EU Projects Implementation and Project Dissemination and Communication Management (Internship)

The department „Research Policy & Development“ at the Centre for Social Innovation (ZSI) is currently seeking an intern as an EU Project Management Assistant. We are a team of 25 experts active in international collaboration projects and aiming to strengthen Europe’s Research, Technology, Development & Innovation (RTDI) cooperation with partner regions. We offer hands-on insights into the field of EU project management and the chance to be part of an international consortia working on joint RTDI collaboration projects.

  • Place of employment: Zentrum für Soziale Innovation GmbH, 1150 Wien, Linke Wienzeile 246
  • Start date: as early as possible (duration of the internship: 6 months)
  • Hours of work: 40 h/week
  • Minimum wage (gross): 965,59 €

Tasks:

  • Support in project implementation (e.g. support in preparation of project deliverables, events and online meetings etc.)
  • Support in project dissemination and communication management (online research on STI project relevant content (Danube region / Western Balkans / Black Sea region) and content management for related websites and social media channels (Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter)
  • Collaboration in the projects ResInfra@DR (Danube Region), WBC-RTI.info (Western Balkan) and Black Sea Horizon (Black Sea region) 
  • Performing both organizational and methodical/analytical tasks

Profile:

  • University degree in Social, Political or Economic Sciences (at least MA-level)
  • Excellent skills in German and English
  • Profound skills in MS Office programmes
  • Some experience in EU funded projects / dissemination and communication management would be an advantage
  • We expect social media skills, while skills in graphical editing software, such as Adobe Illustrator, Acrobat, MS Publisher would be an advantage
