Job: Project assistant for South and Southeast Asian projects

What we offer:

  • Collaboration in two interesting, future-orientated EU projects on bi-regional S&T cooperation EU – South and Southeast Asia (India, Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, Viet Nam (see www.sea-eu.net for more details).

  • Employment of 30-40 h/week, starting November 1, 2008

What we expect:

  • Experience in the area of qualitative and quantitative social research to contribute to the analytical content of publications and project reports and support quality assurance (knowledge of evaluation & foresight)
  • Knowledge in administration, reporting and finances; e.g. in the 6th or 7th EC Framework Programme for Research and Development
  • Experience in dissemination of project results, public relations, coordination of publications etc
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • University degree (graduates of social sciences preferred) and relevant job experience
  • Ability to work in a team, qualification and experience in national and/or international projects
  • Excellent command of English and German; bonus: French
  • bonus: knowledge of South and Southeast Asian innovation systems
