#FutureRRI Final Conference: What #RRI 2.0 in Industry?

Final meeting of the #euSMARTmap project strengthening the ecosystem of RRI in industrial innovation

Bereich: Technik & Wissen

Datum: 1. Oktober 2018

ZSI - among the SMART-map Consortium partners - is pleased to invite you to the final meeting of the SMART-map project, which will take place on the 1st of October 2018 at Hotel NH Brussels Bloom! in Brussels, Belgium. The event aims to actively engage participants in discussing the project results, discover inspiring examples on how to implement responsible innovation in industrial processes, and contribute to a lively debate on the future of responsible research and innovation (RRI).

Representatives from companies in precision medicine, 3D printing and synthetic biology will come together with industry associations, policy makers, civil society organisations as well as funders, think-tanks and strategic consultants, to share inspiring experiences. Participants will be encouraged to discuss with them about future funding and recommendations to strengthen the ecosystem of RRI in industrial innovation.

SMART-map will present three specially designed roadmaps, i.e. the “SMART Maps” on Precision Medicine, Synthetic Biology and 3D printing. Each SMART Map contains a collection of concrete tools companies can use, and the results of industrial pilots implementing some of the tools in each of the three fields. These experiences will offer relevant examples of how RRI can help companies discover new business opportunities, anticipate trends in the market and improve their business and technological roadmaps accounting for new values and societal instances.
