The delegation included senior representatives from the South Korean education sector, among them Mr BangHun Kim, Deputy Director at the Ministry of Education, as well as representatives from other leading organisations in the field of education.
During the visit, we introduced ZSI’s work and discussed our understanding of social innovation, with particular attention to our multi-methodological and interdisciplinary approach to research and innovation. The delegation showed great interest in how ZSI combines scientific research with practical application and stakeholder involvement in addressing societal challenges.
We also presented selected ZSI projects in the field of education and shared experiences from projects involving South Korean partner organisations. This provided an excellent basis for an exchange on common challenges, different approaches and potential areas for future cooperation.
We greatly appreciated the delegation’s interest in our work and the opportunity for such an open and stimulating discussion.
