Launch of the newly established Organization of Kosovan-Austrian Alumni (OKAA)

The HERAS+ project, funded by the Austrian Development Agency, supported the official ceremony of launching the newly established Organization of Kosovan-Austrian Alumni (OKAA). We are happy to gather many Kosovan-Austrian scholars in one place and cheer the progress made.

Our big thanks go to Austrian MEP Lukas Mandl, Minister Arbërie Nagavci, Austrian Ambassador Christoph Weidinger, Universiteti i Prishtinës Rector Qerim Qerimi and project team leader Aqim Emurli for greeting the event and for their indispensable support throughout the process. We also thank the OKAA governing board members (Jeton, Albana, Leonita, Vjosa, Festim and Faton) for doing such a great job up to now.

HERAS Plus and its implementing consortium (WUS Austria, OeAD, Zentrum für Soziale Innovation – ZSI), with the support of Austrian Development Agency, will make sure that OKAA is headed in a right direction, is self-sustainable, raises funds on its own and gets involved in the higher education sector as new stakeholder.
