Pomurje Technology Park (PTP) has, according to the National act of supportive environment for entrepreneurship, public mandate to implement support programmes for start-ups in Slovenia. Institution is under the public ownership and supervision and It is a community with more than 150 companies, strong international connections and wealth of experience in EU programs. PTP devotes special attention to promoting the transfer of knowledge, experience and technologies to the economy, which is reflected in the creation of new jobs and higher added value. In this way it contributes to the higher competitiveness of innovative entrepreneurship in remote area and promotes the creation of new, market niche oriented and growth-focussed companies. PTP is an organization with supportive and stimulating business environment for the development of technology entrepreneurship. By providing necessary infrastructure, services, target oriented training, mentoring and promotion; it motivates entrepreneurial potential in the region and assists in the realisation of entrepreneurial initiatives with high levels of knowledge and market potential. At the same time it enables matchmaking and synergies with the domestic and foreign development, research, financial and market environments. PTP is able to address the relevance of the proposed project in a very efficient and effective manner, through following two areas of support: (i) Start:up Center - infrastructure, equipment, accelerator & mentoring programme, business training programme, consulting services and (ii) Innovation Center - Development of new products, services and technologies via Living Lab approach & open innovation, SME audit & benchmarking services via developed tools, internationalization and tailor made business solutions.
