Akronym: MVP

The Department for International Scientific, Technical, Educational, Cultural and Sport Co-operation in Sarajevo is in charge e.g. for the SEE-ERA-NET.PLUS project.

It carries out professional and administrative work that is related to:

-          preparation, processing and producing of international agreements and programs of scientific, technical, educational cultural and sports co-operation with other states and international organisations;

-          the preparation and co-ordination of scientific, technical, educational, cultural and sports co-operation which is realised on the basis of bilateral programs of co-operation;

-          scholarships, schooling, specialisations and other professional training within bilateral programs for co-operation;

-          international, scientific and research projects in the areas of science, technology, education and culture;

-          the monitoring and registration of direct scientific, technical, educational, cultural and sports co-operation with other states and international organisations.

 

Previous experience:

Ministry of Foreign Affairs participated in the ERA Westbalkan and implements SEE-ERA.NET project, funded under 6th Framework Programme.

 

The bilateral agreements, protocols and memorandums dealing with the co-operation in the in the fields of science, technology, education, culture and sport which have been ratified by the present date are with:

-          Germany,concerning the co-operation in the field of technology,

-          Slovenia,concerning the co-operation in the fields of science and technology and the co-operation in the fields of culture, education and science.

 

International agreements which are in the process of being ratified are with following countries:

-          Croatia,concerning the co-operation in the fields of culture, education and sport, and the co-operation agreement in the fields of science and technology,

-          Germany,concerning cultural co-operation,

-          Hungary,in the field of education, science and culture,

-          the FYRo Macedonia,concerning cultural co-operation,

-          Greece,concerning the co-operation in the fields of culture, education and science,

-          Albania,concerning the co-operation in the fields of education and science,

-          Bulgaria, in the fields of education, science and culture,

-          France, in the fields of culture, science and technology,

-          Serbiaconcerning the co-operation in the fields of science and technology,

-          Montenegro, in the field of science and technology,

-          Turkey, in the field of education, science, culture, arts, youth and mass media.

 

Short profile of the staff members who will be undertaking the work:

Amb. Husein Panjeta, Head ofthe Department for International Scientific, Technical, Educational, Cultural and Sport Co-operationat the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. He was Director of the Institute of International Scientific, Technical, Educational, Cultural and Sport Co-operation and he was Bosnian and Herzegovinian Ambassador to State of Qatar.

 

Mr. Ammar Mirascija, was born on February 16, 1970 in Sarajevo, Bosnia-Herzegovina. He is Director of the National Contact Point for EU Framework Programmes in BiH and the National FP7 and INCO Coordinator. He was also NCP for SEE-ERA.NET Pilot Joint Call and also participates actively in WBC-INCO.NET.
