Work and research focus:

Martina Lang is a sociologist specialized in qualitative research designs who works in the field of Science, Technology and Society (STS) with a focus on Technolgy Assessment (TA), Technology Ethics and Science Communication. The question how technology can be designed and organized along more democratic and transparent lines is an essential part of her researches. She has worked as a researcher at the Medical University of Graz, at the Technical University Graz and is a lecturer at the Department of Science, Technology and Society Studies at Alpen-Adria University Klagenfurt.
