The Technology Centre of the Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic is comprised of several legal institutes of the Academy of Sciences.

The Technology Centre of the Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic (Technologické centrum Akademie věd ČR) is a consortium of legal entities (institutes of the Academy of Sciences of the CR): the Institute of Physics, the Institute of Microbiology, the Institute of Chemical Process Fundamentals, the Institute of Plasma Physics, the Institute of Molecular Genetics and Technology Management Ltd.

Technology Centre was established on 22 July 1994 as an independent legal entity.
