Mark your calendars: "Thinking out-of-the-box with the New European Bauhaus for energy efficiency in cultural heritage buildings"
Date: 3. June 2025
Section: Research Policy & Development
The second edition of the INHERIT Multi-Stakeholder Forum brings together experts, innovators and stakeholders to explore creative approaches to energy efficiency in cultural heritage buildings through the lens of the New European Bauhaus (NEB).
The Forum will open with a presentation by ERDEN PURE Walls โ Schlins, Austria, winner of the 2021 NEB Prize. Their project introduces the use of walls built from unprocessed, unstabilised earth, 100% natural and fully recyclable. By eliminating cement from the mix, these walls naturally regulate indoor temperature and humidity, offering a low-impact and energy-efficient construction method that aligns closely with NEB values.
The second part of the Forum will focus on findings from the Social Life-Cycle Analysis (S-LCA) carried out by INHERIT pilot partners, shedding light on the social implications of energy efficiency interventions in different local contexts.
To conclude, participants will be introduced to several technological services developed within the INHERIT project, with an open discussion to gather feedback and explore how these tools can be further adapted to stakeholder needs.
Join us for this interactive session dedicated to co-creation, cross-sector dialogue and sustainable innovation.
